CEO John Zanni | Acronis SCS

John Zanni

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to becoming CEO of Acronis SCS, John held positions with Acronis Inc., such as President, CMO, and SVP Channel and Cloud Strategy. John previously served as CMO, Service Providers, at Parallels, overseeing the company’s global service provider marketing function. Prior to joining Parallels, John was the General Manager of the Microsoft Service Provider SPLA business.  John holds a BS degree in Mathematical Physics from California State University, Northridge.

Peter Cleveland

Peter Cleveland has served in multiple public and private sector roles over a three decade career in Washington, DC, including as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of the Intel Corporation, Chief of Staff to California Senator Dianne Feinstein, and as a corporate attorney at an international law firm. He has extensive working knowledge of the global technology industry and the US and foreign statutory and regulatory process affecting the business interests of companies in that sector.

Board Member

Tom Ridge is the Chairman of Ridge Global, LLC, Chairman of the Ridge Global Cybersecurity Institute and a Partner of Ridge Policy Group, LLC. He provides clients with solutions to cyber security, international security and risk management issues. Following the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, Tom Ridge became the first Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and, on January 24, 2003, became the first Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security. Before the events of September 11th, Tom Ridge was twice elected Governor of Pennsylvania.

Hon. Eugene R. Sullivan | Acronis SCS Board Advisor

Hon. Eugene R. Sullivan

Board Member

Eugene R. Sullivan is a retired Federal Judge in Washington D.C. with over 16 years of appellate experience. Nominated by President Reagan and confirmed by the Senate, Judge Sullivan was installed as a Federal Judge in 1986. In 1990, President Bush named him the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals (AF). In 2002, he was elevated to Senior Status. When not recalled to active Court service, Judge Sullivan is a senior partner in the D.C. Law firm of Freeh, Sporkin & Sullivan LLP.

Eva Adams

Vice President of Human Resources and Acronis SCSVets Foundation

Eva Adams is the VP of Human Resources and Acronis SCSVets Foundation. She came to Acronis SCS with over 17 years of extensive HR experience in the aerospace, technology, and education industries. She has also worked in employee relations. Eva is passionate about giving back to the community, especially as it pertains to veterans, homeless, and rescuing dogs. Eva is proud to be part of a veteran family with her two children having served in the US military – Navy and Army. She is a southern California native now residing in Arizona. Eva received her bachelor in Business Management from University of Phoenix and her master degree in Adult Education from University of Phoenix.

Technology Compliance Officer

Glenn Axelrod is the Manager of IT Compliance at Acronis SCS. Prior to Acronis SCS, Glenn dedicated 22 years of serving in the US Army. During his time he held numerous IT leadership roles, gaining an expertise in tailoring IT standards, industry best practices, and frameworks. Glenn received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University at San Bernardino and his master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, University College. Glenn resides in Mesa, Arizona with his wife and two children.

Vice President of Sales

John Downey is the Vice President of Sales for Acronis SCS. John has 15 years of experience selling enterprise information security and data protection software to the US Public Sector. He has deep expertise in mapping product capabilities to key US federal government policies, creating enterprise license agreements for systems integrators, and developing sales and channel strategies to maximize customer attainment and satisfaction. John received his bachelor degree from Towson University. He resides in Maryland with his wife and two children.

Technology Security Officer

Steven Freeman is the Product Security Risk Manager at Acronis SCS. He proudly served in the US Air Force for over 10 years. Steven has worked within the IT industry for over 13 years, beginning at the USAF as Security Forces. Prior to Acronis SCS, Steven gained 7 years of experience in IT security through his time at PhoenixNAP and SRP. Steven received his master’s in Information Systems from Arizona State University. In his free time he enjoys CrossFit, tending to his house plants, and taxiing his children around town.

Adam Morton, Dir. of Business Development at Acronis SCS

Adam Morton

Director of Business Development

Adam Morton is the Director of Business Development at Acronis SCS. Adam joined Acronis SCS through DoD SkillBridge – a program dedicated to helping transition military members to civilian careers. With more than 20 years of military experience, Adam has served in numerous management and executive leadership roles across Army Aviation and Military Intelligence. He most recently served as the Director of Standardization and Compliance Management for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Adam graduated from the University of The Incarnate Word with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Louisiana State University.

TJ Pais, Dir. of Support and Program Management at Acronis SCS

TJ Pais

Director of Support and Program Management

TJ Pais is the Director of Support and Program Management. TJ’s responsibilities include building and maintaining a support process for customers. TJ has more than 10 years’ experience in mining, defense, and technology industries. He has expertise in Testing, QA, Support, and Project Management. TJ’s recent accomplishments include creating a support process & SLA for a startup, ITIL v3 certification, Six Sigma certification, Testing Certification (ASTQB) and a certification in project management from UC-Irvine.

Neil Proctor, VP of Engineering and R&D at Acronis SCS

Vice President of Engineering and R&D

Neil is the Vice President of Engineering and R&D for Acronis SCS where he is responsible for creating the team and processes to ensure our products are trusted, fully intended, and uncompromised with complete traceability of the environment and all processes used in the build, as well as research and development of new features geared to providing world class public sector backup and data protection products. Prior to Acronis SCS, Neil worked for GoDaddy for 13 years. Neil holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Arizona.

Lynndy Smith, Dir of Gov and University Affairs at Acronis SCS

Lynndy Smith

Senior Director of External Affairs

Lynndy Smith is the Senior Director of External Affairs at Acronis SCS. Lynndy helps build relationships between local and national organizations while being an advocate for edge data security and cyber protection. She previously served as the Outreach Director for Congresswoman Lesko’s office. Before that, Lynndy managed multiple political campaigns including the NO on 127 Campaign where she helped organize over 300 coalitions against Proposition 127. She also served a short while with the late Senator John McCain. Lynndy received a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations from Amherst College in Massachusetts.
